Mattison Memorial Hospital

The Medical work in Uttar Pradesh started in 1979, with the opening of a small pathology laboratory in Hapur town which is situated 70 kms away from Delhi. In 1984, a compact building was inaugurated and dedicated to serving the community. This was possible due to the efforts of Pr. Mattison former President of Northern India Union who collected donations for the building. Dr. Richard Samuel was its first Chief Medical Officer and after a year he left to the USA, after which Pr. S R Gill was Administrator and during his time Dr. A P Rao joined Mattison Memorial Hospital who lead the hospital as Medical Director and Consultant till his retirement. Today the hospital runs a 20 bed facility with outpatient department. Surgical and Dental care are few of the services the hospital offers.
